Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst where you will play a key role in enhancing security awareness and ensuring compliance with Enterprise Information Security policies, processes, and standards. You will implement and manage security tools, assess security risks, provide remediation guidance, and drive improvements in information security controls. You will be responsible for ensuring the organization remains secure and that all risks, vulnerabilities and defects are managed, tracked and remediated according to policy and/or best practices. You will provide Incident Response, threat hunting and proactive support of all development activities in both the cloud and on-prem environments. Your expertise will help optimize security measures, educate stakeholders, and support risk management efforts across the organization.

This role requires a strong technical background and familiarity of traditional and emerging security technologies and practices. The activities of this role will be split between day-to-day operations activities and providing guidance to business stakeholders on new and existing infrastructure related projects.

The candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, interact effectively with various IT Teams, and Business leaders.

In this role, you will:

• Design, implement, and tune rules and techniques to prevent risky user behaviours in partnership with security, investigative partners, business groups and other stakeholders
• Support enterprise transition to next-generation cloud-based security solutions
• Provide information security consultation for all aspects of information security compliance policy, risk management, and remediation
• Direct information security risk assessment and research, and recommend remediation plans and strategies
• Provide consulting on security risk assessment and research, and recommend remediation plans and strategies
• Work directly with key business leaders to facilitate information risk analysis and risk management processes, identify acceptable levels of risk, and establish roles and responsibilities with regards to information risk management
• Consult with the organization on complex security issues and findings
• Evaluate and interpret internal and companywide information security policies, processes, standards, and participate with more experienced leaders in decision making on information security
• Serve as information security senior developer to advise on the development and delivery of Information Security Education and Awareness
• Work with other Security Architects to build security into infrastructure and architecture designs
• Provide direction and advice on projects related to security portfolio to strengthen the overall cybersecurity posture
• Actively monitor and analyse security events, alerts, and logs using SIEM, SOAR, and related tools, investigating security incidents to mitigate potential risks.
• Develop and refine SOC processes, playbooks, alerts, reports, and dashboards to enhance threat detection and incident response capabilities.
• Analyse security logs to identify anomalies and violations, taking appropriate action based on established procedures.
• Performance of hardening of Windows and Linux workstations and servers.
• Stay updated on evolving security threats and vulnerabilities.

We are looking for:

Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years in Information Security.
• Experience in ISO27001, PCI and audits.
• We are seeking candidates with practical knowledge in implementation of security best practices. This is a hands-on role.
• Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) within cloud and hybrid environments.
• Experience with endpoint, email, and web security technologies.
• Proficiency in managing various security tools.
• Experience in SCA/DAST/SAST/Container Scan.
• Experience conducting security control assessments and managing security incidents.

Technical Skills:

• Solid understanding of the threat landscape, attacker motivations (phishing, malware, APTs, DoS attacks), nation-state actors and defensive strategies.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Knowledgeable in key security technologies: SIEM, SOAR, EDR, ID/IPS, access control, vulnerability management, cloud security, and External Attack Surface Management.
• Strong understanding of following technologies and concepts: DFIR, IAM, PAM, DLP, NGFW, EDR, IDS/IPS.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, DNS, and networking equipment (routers, VPNs, proxies, firewalls).
• Capable of attack reconstruction based on network traffic, integrating Threat Intelligence, and familiar with MITRE ATT&CK framework, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple locations".
